Extraction Description
Obtained by ethanolic extraction of the concrete, itself produced by solvent extraction of the flowers of Citrus Aurantium L. This consists of 2/3 distilled Neroli blossom and 1/3 absolute extracted Neroli blossom. This is because the neat absolute has a harsh note on its own, but softens down well in neroli oil to give an agreeable bouquet.

Neroli Absolute. Used in perfumery helps you to wind down. Beneficial to the skin, stretch marks and mature skin especially. Useful for all skin types especially dry or sensitive skin. Use with mandarin to help stretch marks. Blends well with floral oils especially rose and jasmine. Helps with PMT and the menopause, due to its calming quality . Helps with problems of emotional origin.
Historical Background
Named for the putative discoverer Anna Mariade la Treinoille, princess of Nerole in Italy (1670). Pale yellow oil from the flowers of the bitter orange tree, were used in bridal bouquets to calm nervousness before the couple retired to the marriage bed.
