Organic Geranium Water (Hydrolat) 200ml, In a clear glass bottle.

General Description
Organic Geranium Water (Hydrolat) 200ml, in a clear glass bottle. A delightfully refreshing range of hydrosols and hydrolates. These can be used as a skin toner, a cooling body mist, added to bath water, as a fragrant linen spray or in the making of soaps and creams. Excellent for cleansing and fortifying all skin types, they also have a relaxing and calming effect.

Historical Background
What are Hydrolats and Hydrosols? Many use the terms interchangeably. Our definitions are that a Hydrolat is the water recovered from the distillation of the essential oil. A Hydrosol is an essential oil dissolved in water, in our opinion these hydrosols should be used only for cosmetic purposes.

What other people think

"Hydrolats (or hydrosols) are valuable therapeutic materials in their own right and can be used alongside essential oils or in place of them especially in cosmetic applications and for treating skin disorders. They can be applied to the skin direct, without further dilution and are particularly useful where non-oily or water soluble treatment medium is needed, for example in some forms of eczema where oils or oily creams seem to make the condition worse." - an excerpt from Aromatherapy an A - Z by Patricia Davis.
