| General Description |
| Turmeric Essential Oil. Used in
perfumery for oriental type fragrances. High in minerals and vitamins
especially vitamin C. Research conducted between 1971 and 1991 shows that
Turmeric has an even stronger action than hydrocortisone. When applied to
skin (diluted) and exposed to sunlight it has a strong anti-bacterial
action, due to a substance called curcumin (more strongly anti-oxidant than
Vitamin E.) Handy in foot and hand preperations. |
